This is a plan for a hospital with a 120-bed community comprehensive care ward to be built in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. This is a new hospital owned by a medical corporation that usually provides home medical care by going out into the town from an existing clinic and caring for elderly patients at home. The hospital is located in a surrounding environment where you can feel various elements of the town, with a highway to the north, commercial facilities to the west, and small factories and houses to the south and east. We aimed to create a place where patients can spend time facing themselves and remember "I want to go home."The building is made up of three floors: the first floor, which is highly public and has outpatient functions, the second, third, and fourth floors, which have ward functions, and the fifth floor, which has staff functions. Each floor has several plazas with different distances from the natural environment, which are connected in three dimensions by corridors and stairs. We thought that the plazas and paths would be a place where patients and staff can stay without being separated, where they can communicate with others or be lost in thought. The staircase that runs diagonally through the building is a bright space that also serves as a rehabilitation space for patients, encouraging them to turn their attention more to the town and home, and was planned as a space that invites them to the more public first floor. The lobby on the first floor, which runs east-west parallel to the road in front, is designed to be a road-like space that locals can pass through, allowing them to experience a more diverse range of people and the town before heading home. The interior space is decorated in calming colors as a place to gently remember life, and by using natural materials throughout the building fixtures and furniture, we aimed to create a space where you can feel the passage of time, such as changes in light and temperature. The hospital is not a place where patients spend their final moments, but a place like a perch until they can return home, and we hope that it will help create a society where more people can live and spend their final moments at home.(まだグーグル翻訳に流しただけ)所在地:東京都板橋区主要用途:病院敷地面積:2,340.05㎡建築面積:1,039.93㎡延床面積:4,390.51㎡規模:地上5階構造:鉄骨造竣工:2021年1月協働:ハル建築研究所写真:堀内広治Site : Itabashi, TokyoUsage : HospitalSite Area : 2,340.05 sqmBuilding Area : 1,039.93 sqmTotal Floor Area : 4,390.51 sqmNo. of Stories : 5 storiesStructure : SteelCompletion : January, 2021Collaboration : HAL Photo : Koji Horiuchi
